Цель: рассмотрение важности изучения влияния идей и идеологии на экономическое развитие. На основании концепции трех фундаментальных условий и двух предпосылок, необходимых для современного инновационного развития экономики, предложены идеи, которые могут быть востребованы для их реализации.

Методы

Методы: в статье используются исторические и качественные методы для анализа и гипотетической реконструкции влияния идей на экономическое развитие. Применяются подходы нарративной экономики к исследованию обоснования экономической политики.

Результаты

Результаты: показано, что в современных условиях широко распространенные в обществе нарративы значимы для продвижения идей относительно реформирования экономики. Нарративы представляют собой эволюционно сложившийся способ упаковки идей и трансляции их в обществе. Для продвижения действенных нарративов они должны согласовываться с историческим опытом, а также ассоциироваться со значимыми историческими фигурами. В работе рассматривается парадоксальная, на первый взгляд, гипотеза, что в современных условиях ленинское наследие может служить основой для продвижения прогрессивных идей. Такие идеи, прежде всего, связаны с модернизацией экономики и общественных отношений, основанных на технологических инновациях, развитием предпринимательства и рыночных механизмов, а также развитием образования и науки.

Научная новизна

Научная новизна: заключается в применении синтеза методологии институциональной и нарративной экономики к исследованию распространения идей и связанных с ними нарративов и их влияния на экономическое развитие.

Практическая значимость

Практическая значимость: положения и выводы статьи могут использоваться для дальнейшего анализа влияния идей и идеологии на проведение экономической политики и институциональные изменения, направленные на модернизацию экономики.

Objective

Objective: to consider the importance of studying the influence of ideas and ideology on economic development. Based on the concept of three fundamental conditions and two prerequisites necessary for the modern innovative development of the economy, the ideas are proposed that may be in demand for their implementation.

Methods

Methods: the article uses historical and qualitative methods to analyze and hypothetically reconstruct the influence of ideas on economic development. The approaches of narrative economics are applied to the study of the economic policy justification.

Results

Results: it is shown that, under modern conditions, narratives widely spread in society are significant for promoting ideas regarding economic reform. Narratives are an evolutionarily established way of packaging ideas and broadcasting them in the society. To promote effective narratives, they must be consistent with historical experience, as well as associated with significant historical figures. The paper considers the seemingly paradoxical hypothesis that in modern conditions Lenin’s legacy can serve as a basis for the promotion of progressive ideas. Such ideas are primarily related to the modernization of the economy and social relations based on technological innovations, the development of entrepreneurship and market mechanisms, as well as the development of education and science.

Scientific novelty

Scientific novelty: it consists in the application of the synthesis of institutional and narrative economics methodology to the study of the dissemination of ideas and related narratives and their impact on economic development.

Practical significance

Practical significance: the provisions and conclusions of the article can be used for further analysis of the influence of ideas and ideology on the implementation of economic policy and institutional changes aimed at economy modernization.
