PROSPECTS OF TURKEY JOINING THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITY
Abstract
The article views the most acute issues referring to the negotiations on the Turkey's would-be joining the European Community, throws light onto the burning problems in the sphere of economic reforms aimed at meeting the Copenhagen criteria. Nowadays Turkey is included into a group of the most important developing markets, which is due to the size of the country, its economic potential and development dynamics. The article contains the analysis of economic transformations, as well as the study of unsolved problems in the sphere of human rights, which is the obstacle on the way of Turkey's joining the EC.
