POSITIONING OF RUSSIAN FEDERATION REGIONS BY THE EXAMPLE OF THE VOLGA FEDERAL DISTRICT
Abstract
When transiting to post-industrial development such aspect as competitiveness and positioning of a region are the most important aspects of strategic development. The authors elaborated the technique of estimating the region's position by the example of the Volga Federal District constituents. They suggest indicators which can be used to estimate the ranking characteristics of the Volga Federal District regions.
